Star Kendrick (vocals) and Toma Banjanin (guitar/production) - aka Geowulf - have shared a gorgeous acoustic rendition of their attention-demanding debut 'Saltwater'. The dream-pop duo, who are based between London, Gothenburg and Berlin, strip back the track to its bare bones with Kendrick's stunning, echo-treated voice pouring simple, plucked acoustic highlighting its stark quality and the lush, Scandi melody that makes the outing so returnable. On writing this version of the track, the duo explain "After we wrote 'Saltwater', we were so excited, we built it into this big arrangement which turned out great - but then recently we listened back to the original demo which was just a simple, stripped back recording and felt like it was too special not to share something in a similar style." Geowulf will be performing live as part of The Line of Best Fit's annual Five Day Forecast festival of new music in January. -G.O'B
